Omnipure K5567

The Omnipure K5567-BB Water Filter can be used in icemakers, coffee machines, refrigerators, beverage equipment, drinking fountains, under the counter systems and R.O.Systems.
 
The Omnipure K5567-BB GAC with KDF water filter is a granular activated carbon filter used to reduce chlorine taste and odour, water-soluble heavy metals, and control scale, bacteria and algae.

The average life expectancy of this filter is 1 year for commercial use or 2 years in a Domestic situation.

The K5567-BB filter has a 1/2 pound of KDF.

General Installation/Operation/Maintenance Requirements:
Note flow direction of filter
For quick connect fittings; push scratch free tube end into the fitting until it bottoms.
Threaded fittings must be wrapped with Teflon tape before installation.

Install Teflon taped fittings and tighten firm.

Use two wrenches to firmly tighten metal tubing.

As this filter is Granulated activated carbon it needs to be flushed until the water runs clear. To do this we recommend the inlet pipe is fitted to the filter and then the filter is flushed into a bucket before installing the outlet pipe. This way the fine particles of carbon are not flushed though your appliance.

Replace cartridge when rated capacity (2,000 Gal.) is reached, or when flow becomes too slow.

This is the same type of filter as the Omnipure K2567JJ but is larger in size and has the capacity to treat more water.
